New In!

Well hello there!

It's been a while hasn't it?!

Today's post is about some new products that I have been given the opportunity to try out. The other day I was doing a little shopping at the local shopping center. One of the stores  (Fontana Pharmacy) happened to be having their customer appreciation day which included a kind of expo.

One lady approached me wishing to share her creation with me which turned out to be some pretty interesting hair products called Ettenio.

A few hair products from the Ettenio brand

This brand of hair products includes cleansers, deep and instant conditioners, moisturizers, sealants, styling agents and even scalp treatments. And what's cool is that these products are made right here in my hometown of Mandeville, Manchester! Awesome huh?

So anyway, we got to talking and the proprietor allowed me to pick out a few products to experiment with and share with my lovely readers. I decided to go with:

Purity Clarifying Shampoo - This shampoo is sulphate-free (yes, that's right, a sulphate-free clarifying shampoo!), has no silicones, mineral oil, parabens or paraffins and never tested on animals.

Some of the main ingredients include (distilled) water, rosemary, nettle, lavender, decyl glucoside, cocamidopropyl betaine, apple cider vinegar, aloe vera juice among other wonderful stuff.

Moisture Infusion - Being the moisture-lover I am, I had to go with this deep conditioner. "Ettenio Moisture Infusion is a deep penetrating moisture conditioner that is formulated to infuse very dry, brittle damaged hair with moisture-packed emollients."

Some of the ingredients here are distilled water, chamomile, rosemary, nettle, saw palmetto, burdock, basil, moringa... green tea, black tea, aloe vera juice... coconut oil, Jamaican black castor oil, wheat germ oil, avocado oil and so on.

Moisture Milk - This is a daily moisturizing spray, complete with Hyaluronic acid (which is said to be the best known moisturizer and humectant, holding 500 times its weight in water), sea kelp, beet sugar extract and broccoli seed oil. It also contains chamomile, oolong tea, rooibos, marshmallowessential oils and even some msm is in the mix.

Twenty Four 7 - With all the super moisturizing products so far, I decided to also try out this balancing leave-in treatment. This product contains some moisturizing agents such as honey, panthenol and of course distilled water, but it also boasts strengtheners like hydrolyzed wheat, silk and even quinoa protein.

Seal & Shine Serum - This serum is comprised of argan, rice bran, babassu, macadamia nut, apricot kernel, coconut, rosemary & vitamin E oils. It's very light and won't weigh the hair down.

Those are they! I haven't really played round with them yet, but tomorrow is relaxer day and I shall have a go at each and every one lol. I am pretty excited to try them out because the ingredient list on each is phenomenal and I'm sure they will do nothing but good things to my hair. I'll let you know how it goes pretty soon. Ciao!

Feel free to check out the Ettenio website for more info. Photos used are from the website.

What products have you tried out/ picked up lately?
