Benefits of Protective Styling other than Length Retention

We all know that protective styling is king when it comes to length retention. But there are several other reasons to jump on the PS wagon:

  1. You can wear lip gloss, no seriously
  2. You can be less choosy about what you wear. Bring on the cotton tops and wool scarves!
  3. You won't be annoyed by getting your hair caught in EVERYTHING: the seat belt, the strap of your bag, the car door, your armpit...
  4. You can say buh-bye to acne (or at least rest assure that what you've got is NOT caused by your hair being out and focus on the real cause).
  5. It's child-proof
  6. You can make productive use of the hours you spend looking for splits when your hair is down
  7. Wash days become a lot shorter and less tedious particularly when long-term styling
  8. You can put your mind at ease. Enjoying your hair is not so easy when you feel guilty about not actually protecting your hair. Put that sucker up and let the good times roll!

Make you hair journey and your LIFE a little easier with some protective styling.

  1. Awesome post! I'm currently rocking freshly flat ironed hair and it's getting caught in everything and I can't help but think about my poor ends even though they are freshly trimmed!
