What I Think:

This product is a white, creamy substance, with a natural, light, fresh scent. It is quite thick in the container, but when rubbed between the fingers, it is rather light and disappears fairly quickly. It is contained in a bottle with a pump which makes it really handy during use.
Now this conditioner implies that it can be used in all 3 forms of conditioning.
"Work conditioner through hair from root to ends. Leave on for 3 minutes, then rinse. For deeper conditioning, leave on for up to 15 minutes. As a leave-in work a dime-sized amount through damp hair, then style as desired"
It works well as a rinse out conditioner, except it doesn't provide a lot of slip. As a deep conditioner it's pretty good too. It melts right into my hair. My hair literally just drinks up the moisture. (It reminds me a tad bit of the Aubrey's Honeysuckle Rose). I prefer mixing it with other deep conditioners or oils for a deeper, more moisturizing treatment. But my ultimate favorite way of using it is as a leave-in, it leaves my hair ultra-soft. it's heaven.
I think this conditioner was $10.99 at Walgreens, for a 13 fl oz bottle. Which is not that much. But this product is quite thick, and a little really does go a long way. I have been using it pretty much every day for about a month (in all 3 ways + sometimes as a moisturizer) and I'm just about 1/2 way through the bottle. So not too bad on the value side.
Overall, I really love this product, and I'd give it a 4.5/ 5. Really good conditioner that I'd totally recommend to a friend.
Tried it yet?

  1. This has been my go-to moisturizer for two years now. Im texturized and I like the moisture it gives. I use it to mix my henna gloss too :)

    1. Yeah, it really does work well as a leave-in and moisturizer.

  2. Yay girlie! I love this conditioner so much! I didn't like it on wet hair but applied to my hair when dry or just slightly damp, its amazing! My stash is now finished, and I can't get it here in BVI, ugh so I may have to order online,or wait till I travel. I'm glad u tried it and loved it though! This was a great post :-D

    1. It is really lovely. I can find it in Ja but it's more than double the original price!

  3. I really want to try it but I wish Shea Moisture products were bigger in size x

    1. You probably should since I'm pretty heavy-handed and it lasted me quite a while.

  4. I used this one on my cousin's transitioning hair and it was like liquid silk! I really need to get a bottle for myself!
