It's Sunday! And while I'm not heading to church today ;-( I'm taking you there! Today's message is centered around the cardinal vices of hair care. Let's take a look at them, shall we?!
Greed - Do you buy all the products that your favorite hair blogger or Youtuber uses? Do you have a myriad of unfinished products in your arsenal? Are you itching for that new conditioner on the shelf of the beauty supply store, even though you have 7 jars of conditioner in your cabinet? If you answered "yes" to one or more of the above questions, I'm sorry but you are a product junkie! Hoarding too many hair products will not get you anywhere. Find the product that works for your hair and stick with it!
Wrath - We all have them! Bad hair days and setbacks are a part of any journey, but instead of getting angry and unleashing your wrath on your hair, step back, take a deep breath and deal with it in a reasonable manner. If you don't, you may end up making irrational decisions which you regret later on.

Sloth - (Singing) Today I don't feel like doing anything... except my hair!!! That's right! Leaving your hair alone is a good thing, neglecting it? Not so much. Make time for your hair. I know it can be rather time-consuming but multi-tasking and being creative can help you cut down on the time it takes. Thou shall not laze around and abandon thy regimen!
Pride - If you are the proud peacock who has her accomplishments on show but will not share her knowledge with others so they can have beautiful colored feathers too, you are committing one of the 7 deadly sins. Show some humility and help a sistah out when the opportunity arises.
Lust - Why is this a sin again?? We all spend hours, days even, prowling the internet and stalking those we deem to have beautiful tresses. They inspire us and and we become desirous of beautiful locks too. Ain't nut'n wrong wit dat. It's when that lust turns to envy that it becomes a problem IMO.
Envy - Resenting others because of their achievements is plain distasteful. Don't hate, appreciate! We should be inspired to step our game up, rather than wanting to see others fall off.
Gluttony - Healthy hair comes from a healthy lifestyle. Put down the hamburgers, step away from the fries. While it's easier to grab convenience food, don't! A healthy, balanced diet will do you and your hair much better.
Stay on the straight and narrow. Obey the rules of your holy healthy hair journey and thou shalt be abundantly rewarded. Have a blessed day!
Which cardinal sin are you most guilty of? Confess below.

Great post! I definitely have issues with greed seeing as though I'm a total product junkie, but I'm working on it!

Haha confession is good for the soul! Keep at it, you'll get there : )
DeleteReally very appreciable article. I actually have a significant hair fall problem. i do not know is because of the dearth of vitamins or the other issue. I had used some products to scale back the hair fall but they appear to be useless. Now I read a piece of writing about home remedy which has some fine method for hair care. Here the source of the article.
