Hey y'all!

It's been far too long, but I'm back with a post about my new year's to-do list. Here are 15 things I want to accomplish in 2015:

  3. Read: 2 interesting books
  4. Blog: more frequently and with more varied content
  5. Visit: a Caribbean island
  6. Explore: my own country
  7. Learn: a new language (Spanish perhaps?)
  8. Be: more sociable & get out more
  9. Experiment: with my hair (blonde highlights anyone?)
  10. Make: more money
  11. Get: more facials, massages and pedicures
  12. Become: fit & healthy
  13. Do: some charity work
  14. Execute: more DIYs
  15. Meditate!

These are they and you'll get to hear all about it on the blog! Lucky you! LOL

New Year, New Hair

So it's a brand new year and I feel compelled to talk about my elaborate plan for my hair...except I don't have one. I will really only be continuing to execute my regimen or some variation thereof, and using what I have learnt last year especially with regards to the moisture/ protein balance. The only thing that will be different this year is the lack of long-term protective styling. During my last go round, I got super tired of my wig at around the 4 week mark and decided that that was it for a while. I still intend to protective style in the short term though.

With that said, here are the few (hair) goals and intentions I wish to realize this year:

The Peak - Hair Goals

Initially, at the start of my journey I wanted MBL hair, but that has changed and I now find myself lusting after, you guessed it - BELOW THE WAIST length hair. That is my ultimate goal length. Also, I am not a fan of the blunt, straight across cut, but neither do I like thinning and uneven ends, so I'm aiming for a nice full rounded, or "V" cut look. I also want soft, strong, shiny hair that I know well and am a pro at. I want to be able to enjoy my hair without suffering breakage. I want it to be manageable and easy. I want it to be gorgeous.
