In this post, I talked about the possible ill-effects of shampooing, but there are ways of using your shampoos without them being too drying or stripping.
Tip:
Dilute sulfate-containing shampoos with water or add your favorite oil for a cleansing product which is less stripping and more moisturizing to your hair.

I dilute my shampoo and apply it to my scalp only by using a narrow tip applicator bottle.
